The Boathouse Coffee Shop at Preston Marina

The Coffee Shop at Preston Marina has been popular with the boatowners since we opened in 1990, taking a well earned rest from working or just socialising and swapping yarns. Many non-boating people find the relaxing and quiet atmosphere an ideal meeting place and we often welcome Prestonians returning from away who are amazed at the changes they see at the old Preston Docks, while others use it as a watering hole when enjoying a stroll on the many riverside and dockland walks.

During the week many of the thousands of people now working in offices on the Docklands find it a great break from the office at lunchtime. Our Coffee Shop staff work hard to offer a variety of tasty snacks.

On a sunny day the scene takes on a continental atmosphere with al fresco dining away from the office and phone.

We have a extensive menu of light snacks and beverages.  Lunch time is popular during the week with the local office workers who appreciate the easy parking and pleasant walk along the quayside.
