Built from 1976/77 and the larger sister ship to the Dufour 2800 the
Dufour 29 is an excellent sea boat and intended for use on coastal
waters. The hull design features raked stem and curved forefoot leading
to fair hull sections featuring generous freeboard and beam for a vessel
of its length, encapsulated ballast fin keel, skeg hung un-balanced
rudder and transom stern.
Conventional layout with five berths in two cabins; forecabin with double ‘V’ berth
and a double and single in the saloon, galley with gimballed two burner hob &
grill and stainless sink & separate heads compartment with marine w.c.
to starboard & hanging locker opposite, there is a good size
navigation table aft to starboard & full standing headroom throughout.
The upholstery is in good condition as is the headlining and for a 1979
boat she appears to be in good condition, she also has the added benefit
of Eberspacher heating.
All electronics, sprayhood etc new since 2000.
2001 survey available for inspection.
