This is a 2001 example of the centre-cockpit version of the Bavaria 40. The hull is of solid GRP laminate below the waterline, with Divinicell closed-cell foam sandwich above the waterline and the moulding is strengthened against collision damage by incorporating Kevlar in the laminate in the bow area


She is fitted out to a luxurious level, with quality joinery in a mahogany veneer  with solid wood trims and details. The accommodation is in avery large double aft cabin features an 'island' berth, and a spacious forecabin. One large heads compartment with separate shower.. The main saloon provides another twin berth.

 A fixed windscreen is fitted to the forward part of the cockpit, giving her much of the style and function of the famous Scandanavian type designs, enhanced by fully laid teak decks.

“Arwen” is well very equipped, in commission and offered in extremely good condition.
