The Marcon
Tomahawk 25’s are well reputed as an elegant looking,
strongly built, sea kindly and well laid out small cruisers
offering satisfying sailing performance but don’t take our
word for it, there is plenty of information available out
there, perhaps the most useful resource is the Tomahawk
Owners Association website at
www.tomahawk25.co.uk
where you can read some excellent recent reviews from the
likes of PBO and Sailing Today magazine.
Leda 2 has the rare distinction of being
owned by the same family since she was new, and has been
sailed exclusively on the fresh water of the Lake District.
This boat could be considered in 2 ways - she
could be given routine pre-season preparations and returned
to the lakes where she could continue to be enjoyed in her
current configuration, or she could be used as a starting
point to be upgraded and modernised and made into an
excellent sea-going cruiser whose inherent well thought out
design, with the added versatility of the bilge keels, opens
up a world of cruising possibilities.
