Hardy’s deserve their worldwide reputation as tough and practical compact cruisers and are well known as being supremly capable cruising companions to their owners’ in waterways as diverse as you can imagine.
The Hardy River Pilot, as the name suggests was conceived as a comfortable river cruiser for 2 people but this broker can easily imagine her at home on the Lakes or even places like the Firth of Clyde (bluntly speaking I think she would be brilliant up there).
2 quick notes – the traditional rope fender (which Hardys are famous for) may not be on the boat when you view her as the owner looks after her very conciencously and it is stored indoors for the winter. Similarly the door for the heads compartment is at the owner’s home at the time of writing for a spot of varnish.
